This poem was given to me by Cindy a very dear friend. I have not seen or heard from her for a few years and I miss her.
I do not know where she is but she made her impact on my life
and made my life a bit better. I do not know where she got this
poem, but she told me it was one of her favorites and it's one of mine.
He is a Successful Man...
Who lives well, laughs often,
and loves much;
Who has the respect of intelligent men,
and the love of little children;
Who fills his niche and accomplishes
his task;
Who leaves the world better than he has
found it, whether by an improved poppy
a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who never lacks appreciation of
earth's beauty, or fails to express it;
Who always looks for the best in
others and gives the best he has;
Whose life is an inspiration, and whose
memory is a blessing to those
he leaves behind...
This blog was dedicated to my writings, musings, interests and anything else that caught my fancy. Now it is dedicated to survival for friends and families in this unsteady world. Hope for you to use some of the things in this blog to better your families. There is a satisfying feeling when you and your family are safe and secure.
