COMING SOON! New Blog - Military Sea Stories!

This new blog will contain Navy Sea Stories primarily, however all the different services will be able to post their different stories on this site. There will be rules ladies and gents on your posts. Mainly remember to keep content clean (No x rated stuff will be posted) and be respectful to the readers.

Most of the readers are from the USA, however there are many from other countries. Perhaps some of the readers are from where some of your stories come from. Again respect will be the request of the day.  Many of us have been to other countries and had many an experience that would be wonderful to pass on. What will be prefered will be stories that inspire, can be funny and positive in nature. Naturally I will lead off with a few of my own. Look for this new blog within the next few weeks.

The drawback of living in a travel trailer

Well there are many pluses to living in a travel trailer, but here is one minus. It never fails when you buy something no matter what it is there is always something out there that is better.  There are travel trailers that are better, bigger and have more storage space or pull outs that widen it inside. But what you buy no matter what sets up the standard of learning for you to learn. So it's a good thing. It's healthy to see something else out there as you can dream about the more space or whatever.
Well this morning I made probably the best tasting cup of coffee I have ever had. It was cool last night outside and it was cool in as I kept the windows open. So between the coolness and the good cup of coffee it was a good morning. I hooked up the laptop and sat down to check the emails. I was highly into reading and answering the emails.  Then out of the blue the two cat's decided to play hide and seek and then chase each other (a game of tag) all over the trailer. I did not think anything of it as the cat's do this all the time. They do this at least every other day. I figure it's good exercise.
Well I am intently working on the emails and I have two cats’ jump from over my left shoulder and land on the table. Well they upset everything. These are two big adult cats.  The coffee, which was a big cup of coffee and it, was full splashed everywhere. All over everything I had laid out. The wiring, laptop, table, cushion I was sitting on, the floor and I do not think they missed one spot. Well I needed to dust anyway. The laptop is cleaner. I had to clean everything. Not much you can do with the cushion. It was soaked.
All you can do in this living space is bite the bullet and make sure you put more things away when you’re done with them. Like the TV remotes back on the shelf. Everything had coffee on it.  Get rid of clutter it's easier to live in a trailer without it. I am still finding places where coffee is hidden. It's on the window blinds. I tried to turn up the volume on my radio and the volume button was stuck. I had to force it to turn it up. Will need to get the q tips out and clean that too! Sheesh!

He is a Successful Man...

This poem was given to me by Cindy a very dear friend. I have not seen or heard from her for a few years and I miss her.
I do not know where she is but she made her impact on my life
and made my life a bit better. I do not know where she got this
poem, but she told me it was one of her favorites and it's one of mine.

He is a Successful Man...

Who lives well, laughs often,
        and loves much;
Who has the respect of intelligent men,
        and the love of little children;
Who fills his niche and accomplishes
        his task;
Who leaves the world better than he has
found it, whether by an improved poppy
        a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who never lacks appreciation of
        earth's beauty, or fails to express it;
Who always looks for the best in
        others and gives the best he has;
Whose life is an inspiration, and whose
memory is a blessing to those
                he leaves behind...

The Simple Things

I am sitting here this morning and am having a good, fresh cup of coffee. It tastes so good. I am online and have checked my email. It can't get any better than this. It reminds me of a period of my life when I was in the US Navy.
I was stationed on the USS Ranger (CV-61) an aircraft carrier. When we would deploy it would be six months gone to sea. When we were home it would be a situation of training and we would be in for some time and gone out to sea for others.
We deployed to the Persian Gulf for the Persian Gulf War. In the mornings at 7:00 am we would take over for the night crew. The fresh pot of coffee was made always without fail. If it wasn't you had better have a good reason and you made it at least a half hour earlier before you got off the night crew so it was made and the red light was on meaning it was done perking.
The rituals we have. Anyway, I had the best division officer. He drank tea and I drank coffee. We would go through the ritual of fixing it and when we took the first sip he would look at me and say, "It's the simple things." He was right it was. The simple things we may take for granted but none the less they are there if we look for them.
In a time of war you look for these moments and then remember and treasure them the rest of your life. It is the simple things that mean most in life, whether we want to believe it or not.

Dog on the side of the road

Republished from the other blog.
Well on my way to the 7 Eleven to get a newspaper(must check the Sunday job section) I noticed this small form of a dog walking along the highway. Since I have been in both Oklahoma and Texas this is not an uncommon site to see stray dogs walking along the highway. However, this was a chi wa wa. A cute little thing. I pulled off the road and noticed him crouched in the grass on the side of the road. The cars were zooming by. I had to wonder if he would run out into the street if I approached him. He was that close to the highway. Well I called him and this little guy came right over to me. I think he was glad to be found. I do not think he liked his little adventure on the highway. I put him in the seat next to me and he just huddled into the seat. He was a cute little guy. I gave him some water in a cup and he drank that. I was glad. He seemed to be rather thirsty and hot.
Well he had a collar and a tag. The tag had a phone number. So I called it and left a message. I am hoping he is expected home and they are eager to see him. I am not sure who he belongs to. But he is a good little dog. I brought him to the trailer and will await a call from his owner. The two cats are rather amused with him. When he goes to sleep they sneak over to get a sniff of him. When he is awake the little guy sticks up for him self by growling. The name of this dog is “Grizzly” which was found on the tag.
I thought if he is not claimed for some reason, perhaps he would like to run around 5.25 acres of land I bought last week in Oklahoma. He could keep the critters away from the back yard. I have seen bobcats in Oklahoma. I had one run in front of my car one day and also saw freshly killed one on the side of the road. I don't know when I will be back to Oklahoma but in the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzeneger...I will be back!
I received a call from the lady that owns the dog. I dropped the dog off. In a way I am glad. It was not fair to the cats. Even though I think they would have done fine sometime later. The lady was happy to get him back. She had children and they would have missed him as well. I am glad it all worked out for the best.
This is the end of the story. I think the cats are glad they have the little space this dog was taking up back.

I hope this was a good story for a Sunday afternoon. Posted by Picasa

Jasper & Rikki

This is republished from other blog.

What a wonderful cat Jasper is. He is beautiful and graceful for a big cat. He is a Maine Coon cat. But his markings and fur are a different color from the regular Maine Coon. He looks like a long haired black haired cat on the outside, but when you run your hand anywhere on his body you will notice he has white fur underneath. So in between his dark hair you may see shades of grey.
Jasper came to me in Phoenix, AZ. I had lost my previous cat to coyotes and swore I would not get another one. Pierre he was called was an indoor and outdoor cat. This is something you can't do if living in Phoenix area. Animals are lost everyday to coyotes. I even got rid of all the previous cats things. I even got rid of the cat carrier.
I was doing a job at a high school in the summer time and kept going by this pet rescue place. As I would go by it seemed like I needed to stop. I ignored it for a couple of days, but it would call to me every-time I would go by. Then one day I said okay I will stop and see. If nothing stands out when I look around then I will leave. So I looked at all the animals. I found all the cats and low and behold Jasper looked so much like the previous cat I had lost. This cat was also a Maine Coon cat and he was the only cat out of 40 or more cats that came right up to the window and acted like he needed to get out. It was like he was greeting me. All the others would just lay there or ignore you as you looked at them. I was told that Jasper was there only two weeks. So this was about the length of time that I felt called to the animal rescue.
As soon as he was let out of the cage he seemed so happy to be held by me and loved the new freedom he had. I could not believe someone would just get rid of this seemly well kept cat. I was told that a young family had to move to another state and could not keep the cat. Also, that his name was Jasmine. I do not know why Jasmine. Did they think this cat was a female? Or did they always want a cat named Jasmine. His name evolved to Jasper.
Jasper is somewhat considerate. He will step his way through an obstacle course of items on a table or desk and be careful. He listens pretty good. When he is with Rikki (the other cat) he likes to play and run around with him. It seems like Rikki has more energy and is more outgoing and will run around lickity split and Jasper likes chasing him. In an RV it’s kinda funny as there is not much space for doing this.
Rikki on the other hand is a great cat as well. He is a tiger, grey tabby. He also has a few white spots around his face and under his neck. Rikki came to me free. I was working at Dollar General for a few weeks and was talking to this lady that had a litter of cats she had to find homes for. I didn’t like Jasper staying home long hours by himself so I ended up taking a look at the litter. Rikki stood out over the litter of 5. I was glad I got him.
Only thing I worried about was how Jasper would take to a small kitten. I was surprised, but Rikki did fine. He drove Jasper crazy at times. He would not leave Jasper alone. Rikki being the young fearless kitten that he was was able to improve his stalking skills with Jasper. He found every chance he could to jump out from behind some piece of furniture when Jasper would pass. At first it was funny to watch Jasper look at this little kitten and then kinda get up and try to ignore him like get out of my way you little pipsqeek. But then when the kitten felt to ignored he realized he could get a rise out of Jasper when he realized he had claws that he could use. Jasper didn’t have front claws. That was a good thing for this kitten.
There were times with this kitten tearing around the living room of the apartment that seemed like he was everywhere. When you sat down he would come over and jump on your sneakers and bite and claw them. I had old sneakers on so that was alright. You would kinda ignore it and just go ahead and watch tv or reading. Then you would take a break and look around and not see the kitten around. You would wonder where he was. So you would start to get up and notice that this kitten had fallen asleep where he last was...on your sneakers. It was if he tired himself out with all the running around and then would just automatically fall asleep like a wind up toy that had just run out and stopped. It was so funny.
How did Rikki the kitten get his name. It took a while to figure out his personality. But he is named after Rikki Ticky Tavi. I can’t remember what kind of animal RTT was. But this cat will play with something and he gets in a crazy mode. He will jump and throw it and go back and forth real quickly. He makes sudden thrusting moves. It’s so funny to watch him. That is also what the character RTT did. RTT was a squirrel like character. You have seen squirrels and how they start and stop and turn around quickly. Rikki would make fast sudden movements. So hence that is how Rikki got his name.
I looked up Rikki Ticky Tavi and this is what I found. : Kipling's story: Rikki-Tiki-Tavi is a brave mongoose who defeats the evil cobra with a single-minded devotion to duty, persistently defending the safety of his human masters at any cost.
There are times when both cat’s get to chasing each other and they will tear through this RV backwards from the bed area to the bathroom at the other end. They have the dining area and small kitchen to run through. This is a 25 foot Coachman travel trailer remember. Not to huge in size.
It’s funny to watch them chase each other. They even rebound off of things. Jumping from the floor and then bounce off the back of the couch. I mean the flat front side of it. Where your back rests. Not the top. They use the back as a trampoline. Then they land on the bed. Sometimes I may be sitting on the floor or on the little couch they rebound on and instead of jumping to the bed on a rebound they will use me as their next rebound contact area. Then they land on the bed. Sometimes they surprise you. You could be reading intently then when one lands on your chest and bounces off the other since he is in hot pursuit bounces off you to. So you get a double whammy. Surprise, surprise.
Both cats do just wonderfully in the RV. I have had good company on this trip to Odessa, Texas. Posted by Picasa

Space the Final Frontier

Well that's the title only. In small spaces space is a big thing. So if clutter is left around then it makes
for this closed feeling. So Saturdays are my get rid of clutter days and cleanup the trailers. Friday's are food shopping so far so I can focus just on what needs to be done here in the trailer.
I have had to organize every cabinet, drawer, shelf, storage space and closet. Space is a commodity. I am kinda glad there is only me and the two cat's in here. I don't know what I would do if there was someone else around.
This reminds me of my shipboard life. I must be getting flash backs. We would have to take advantage of all the space. Everything was space. We utilized all available space we could. So I should be an expert at this.
My geeky nerd office in the house in Avondale, AZ was the same. I took advantage of all available space possible. At one time I had 7 computers in that room. All of them were on a network. What a geek. I had shelves everywhere for computer books. I had quite a library. I always had at least 2 computer screens on that I worked on. It was nice.
Moving into this trailer is far more different. It's kinda an exercise of learning what to do and how to do it. I have pretty much gotten rid of most of my books. I have a few keepers here in the trailer. But for the most part I gave away the books. I must have hauled at least 8 boxes of books to the thrift shop. Aren't thrift shops wonderful? You can even get a receipt from the TS to use on your taxes for getting rid of clutter.
What do I do without my books now. Well I figured it this way. There is a service called Safari Books online. The cheapest service is 19.99 per month. So for roughly 20 dollars a month I don't have to haul technical books around with me. They have a lot of the books I used and need online. Also, they add new books to the collection online. Which means I am getting updated technical info. I had to figure out how much I spend of these books buying them. They can be 45 - 75 dollars a piece. Then I have to store them, or carry them with me. Well for 20 dollars a month I have pretty much made my books disappear. I have perhaps 20 or so keepers with me. A lot less space carrying that one instead of 20 or so boxes of books. If I find that these books I have kept are online then I can just get rid of it.
Also, I had six file drawers full of files that I had been carrying around for three wives and many years. I never knew when I would need some of this stuff. With the divorces you always had to prove something. Prove that you paid this or that. So I had to keep it all. So now I pretty much have digitized it all with my scanner. I threw all the paper away. I am down to one box of misc stuff that I have to figure out what to do with it. So most of the six file drawers are gone for good.
Now all I have to do is come up with a system to digitize the new stuff that comes in that I have to keep. i can then throw all of it away. Then just live month to month and digitize that monthly.
If it's paper I can throw this stuff away. Posted by Picasa

Why did I take the trip to Texas?

Well most people can’t believe all the changes I seem to go through, as they would never do them. That seems the main reason anyway. But it seemed the timing was right. I had bought my travel trailer and lived in it for about 5 months in Oklahoma. Everything seemed like I was ready for a change.
One of the main reasons to move to Texas was that it was a lot closer than other places to travel that I wanted to go to. I had this Jeep Liberty and wanted to see what the advantages or limitations were. I have always had it in my heart to go back east to New England or back out west to California. But what I have before I get to either coast is the dreaded, “Mountains.” The mountain chains can change your whole trip very quickly. It will not matter if you go out of your way to get beyond them some how. There is no getting around them really.
After taking this trip to Texas, which is, pretty much flat I realize that I will need a stronger vehicle. This rig that I have will never make it over the mountains. So this whole trip was a learning experience for me.
When I first bought the trailer I never expected to go out of state with the travel trailer. So everything has evolved through the learning experience. So if I expect to go anywhere outside of Oklahoma and Texas then I will have to save for a V8 engine with pulling power. So I am looking at an F150 or something else. What would be the dream would be a Hummer. I just stopped to look at one this past week. Oh my gosh! Incredible! We will see later. Will have to make some real money for that. We are looking at $40,000.00 for this vehicle. Gas what it is too.
I am sure I will learn a lot here in Texas. But will ultimately move back to Oklahoma. I bought land in Oklahoma so have something to go back to as well as some family there. Just don’t know when thought. I will work here for awhile. Am not sure if it will be just for retirement or not.
Traveling in the trailer through Texas is fairly smooth since it is fairly flat. It’s just dealing with the heat during the summer. Posted by Picasa

Living Road Kill

You never know what you’re going to see going from state to state. But I think the most road kill I have seen is in Oklahoma. It seems that the economy is so low and the unemployment rate is so high that people are highly transient. One day a person could have a path set for them. They have a good job. They bought a new house and then poof they are out of a job. It is so hard to find follow-on work that they end up losing the house. Then they have to move into something else. They may give it a go or go out of state for work.
With the above in mind dogs are dropped off on street corners. So one day you will see a pack of dogs roaming around and then they are gone one by one.
Some road kill seems to lie there for weeks. Some never get picked up at all. I have never seen this much in all my wanderings. I do not think this is something to be proud of.
Some of the people’s attitudes I have talked to as well are that they are disgusted with these dogs walking around getting into things and are a nuisance. So they are not wanted by their owners and not wanted by people around the streets. Occasionally one or two will get picked up by someone. But it seems the ones that have been on the streets the longest naturally stay away from people the most. The ones more recently dropped off would have a better chance of being picked up by some nice family that would notice that this dog had a good disposition.
You will notice especially around winter that some of these dogs are getting thin, but still they do not come when they are called. You can virtually see the life going out of some of these animals.
Some farmers or ranchers seem fit to shoot the stray dogs as they feel it is more humane. What a way to live. It seems so unwanted and useless. So betrayed by everyone.
I recently saw on “It’s a Miracle,” the television program one clip where one of these stray dogs in Oklahoma actually saved a toddlers life by taking a rattlesnake bite for the child. The dog ran right between them and put his own life on the line. A dog warden had recently shot at this dog.
I think this episode is a shot in the arm for those animals and shows me that there are others that care about them. It also outlined the plight for the nation. Posted by Picasa

The difference of travel trailers to consider

One thing you may want to consider if you are looking to get a travel trailer or RV is how long term your going to live in it. Then make your choices based on that. I bought this travel trailer. It is good and it's brand new and looks nice. It has all the conveniences. However, when you get around the RV community you find that there are plenty of others out there. So shop around. But the main thing you want to look at is if it's long term then you want one that is insulated better for the winter.
Most travel trailers are weekenders. This means that they are good for summer vacations, weekends, etc. They usually are not insulated as good. Which mean's the one I bought is not the right one for my uses and me either. You can survive in one of these. I have done it. But if you’re in a winter climate like up north and for a long period of time then you’re in for a winter. I like my trailer, however there are trailers out there that are built for more long term and are insulated better.
Lots of the 5th wheel varieties are insulated real well, have a lot more space, have slides (at least one or two) and are great for winters. They hold the heat in better. They are built more solid. They may cost more for the newer ones then the travel trailers (weekenders).
As far as sewerage goes you may want a couple of different size tubing that connects your trailer to the sewerage hookups. There are 10 and 20 feet ones you can buy. Different RV parks have their tanks in different locations. Some will be towards the middle of your unit or towards the back.
A heavy-duty extension cord may be nice to have. You usually have external sockets so you can hook up external lighting, etc.
What about your water lines in the winter. Well this is what I learned from hard knocks. You usually hook up a hose from your RV to the spigot. At 32 degrees Fahrenheit water freezes. You will need the pipe insulation and put it completely around the hose. But before you do you will need to buy an electrical cord that actually heat's pipes and keeps them from freezing. You can buy what they call heat tape at Home Depot. You can buy them in different lengths. You wrap this tape around the full length of the hose and then you put the insulation around it. You can then use duck tape to tape it all together. Then you plug the heat tape into the external socket. It stays on and is low wattage. It does work and everyone uses them.
You will need a level as if your unit has a shower you want your water to drain and not sit at one end of the tub. Get the picture. Balance is everything and must be remembered when moving into a site.
There are other things you will need. Like boards for the jacks and jack stands so that you can make your unit more sturdy. Also, chocks for the wheels so the unit does not move or roll. There are different types of jacks and jack-stands. All different prices. Whatever is easier for you.
To give you a for instance or a standard to go by. I have the propane tanks that usually come with a barbecue grill. I have two and it costs about $13.50 to fill one. The larger sizes cost more naturally. You can buy these larger sizes separately if you want to change them out. Posted by Picasa

Why I moved out of an apartment

This is a repost from my previous blog that went belly up!

I found myself being very distracted. When I first moved into the apartment building I didn’t have any problems. But the apartment buildings did a management transfer twice in just a bit over a year. With the change of management the standards changed as well. There was a much better crowd of people for a good 9 months. Then myself and my next door neighbor and others noticed that we were getting more riff raff. We lost many of the good neighbors real fast.
The break-ins increased both in automobiles and apartments. There were two rapes. Guns were fired twice that I know of. In one night 10 cars were broken into by someone smashing into a window to get in.
Well, I found myself at a point having to buy a new car. I didn’t care as much about the previous car. But when I bought a 2004 Jeep Liberty I began to worry about it parked in the lot. Plus the noise got louder and louder in the neighborhood and became a problem till the wee hours of the morning.
I could not take not getting sleep, as management could not control what was going on. Their security patrol was worthless. I had a lease for three more months and decided to live out of my car to get some sleep at night. I had to learn where to sleep without getting questioned by the police. There weren’t many places. So it became a problem. I then realized there were a few state campgrounds.
So I decided to give the campgrounds a try. Ah sleep what a wonderful thing. It was fine in the late summer, but winter was coming. It got colder and colder. I think I spent about a month in my car and then realized I had a 2 man dome tent. Then decided I would try that. Well that was okay for a while but still it was cold.
Then one Saturday I decided well why not a mobile travel trailer. So I went looking. I looked at used and then new. I found it was better to buy new. I found that there was less of a hassle with the banks. The banks were a problem enough. Then I had the trailer. The cats had stayed in the apartment for a month so I would feed them after work and stay with them for awhile. Then head off to the campsite.
So hence this is how I evolved to a travel trailer. It’s funny how things work out sometimes. I paid on the empty apartment for two more months and then finally was done with it. Could not get out of the lease without going to court.
I was so happy to get my trailer. Everything was new. I had a microwave, refrigerator, kitchen sink, double bed, dining area, couch, some storage and a bathroom (toilet & shower).
I had always said when the kids got older and they had kids of their own I would visit in a RV of sorts and see the grandchildren. So the evolution ended up being a natural one. I have 5 grandchildren now and of course 7 children of my own.

Advantages of living in a travel trailer

Well I found many advantages to living in a trailer then an apartment. About half the rent and electricity costs are saved. So it’s a huge savings. Then of course you own it after your done with the banks of course. So no more money going into someone else's pocket. I ultimately will own this trailer.
Naturally I will own what is pulling the travel trailer as well. As long as I take care of the investment then the value should stay up even after depreciation. So it’s keep it clean.
I do have enough storage so storing food is no problem and the refrigerator has been fine. Freezer is big enough for the essentials and you don’t need to store six loaves of bread.
Pay as you go. Pretty much this is the case. Your trailer comes with 2 canisters of propane so you just keep them filled. The propane is for your water heater, your furnace if you choose to use it (propane hog) and cooking stove. When you’re hooked up to electricity you can always use a low wattage electric heater to supplement things. My heater got me through the winter just fine. I have one of the oil filled radiator type ones. That way it stands up quite high and radiates the heat in both directions.
Things are quieter most times and if you don’t like it you can move when you want to. Your not tied down. So you have much more freedom.

Scaled down life

I have been living in my RV travel trailer for over six months now. I have lived in Oklahoma and am now in Texas for a period of time. Since I moved from my apartment in Oklahoma City I have scaled my life down. First it was taking the furniture items from a 2-bedroom apartment and putting most of it in storage.
Then when I knew I was moving to Texas for a while I got rid of all the furniture and scaled down some more to half the space and another storage unit that was smaller. Most of my computer equipment is in storage. All the desktops I have, wiring, extra stuff. Now in the trailer I have the two laptops. I have one Macintosh and the other Dell PC.
For television, I use my 12” TV and the 27” is in storage. Everything is much more portable and smaller in this trailer. So I had to do some slight modifications. I took out one of the dining seat cushions and since it is wood underneath put shelves up and has VCR, DVD and storage and a spot for the 4-in one-printer/fax unit.
I had so many files in two cabinets that I used the 4 in one to digitize all my files so that I only have those operating files I need. The rest are in .pdf file format and can be printed/viewed from these files.
Naturally I have dvd’s and VCR tapes of my favorite movies. I could have cable or dish network, but am keeping that expense away from me. I would rather just watch the free TV stations across the airwaves. So I get the most important channels. I can tune into ABC, WB, NBC and a few others.
In some of these RV parks they have wireless, but some are not as good. I bought my own high speed internet here in Texas. So I will not go without that. So it’s a tradeoff. Cable...or Internet access!
Another thing I have done. I went out and bought a short wave radio. I have been overseas quite a bit and wanted to experiment with certain shows that would play at night. Since I got away from cable I thought this might be a good thing. I have found a few stations that have been good for me. These give me some pleasure from time to time. Also, it keeps me informed. I like listening to some talk shows and especially the news. There is always Voice of America.
Another outlet since I have internet is many of the online radio stations. I spent many years in the UK and like listening to some of the radio programs they have online. With online radio you have to review their program listings and can plan in advance.
One thing I am starting to explore more and more are concerts online. With some free concerts online you can record them if the quality is good and then listen to them later.
This has been a more scaled down existence for me, but I have learned to improvise, overcome and adapt. I have found I am happier and my cats are happier. We are all together. The cat’s love to look out of the trailer at the birds in the mornings. It’s great to watch them.

RV Parks

RV parks depending on which one you get in an area for the most part are very good. They keep them up and end up with a pool at some and useable are quiet. Most people that can afford them, especially the huge RV’s that are as big as busses are retired people, people with money, or some that have decided to see the USA and have sold everything and put it into the RV. What they have with them is what they got.
It has been a good experience. I have met some people that have everything but the storage sheds with them. It’s amazing. One guy had every electronic gadget imaginable. This included a $6,000.00 satellite dome on the top of the RV that he could get internet access from anywhere in the USA. I have priced some of these rigs and they can be $250,000.00 and up.
Another thing you see from time to time is someone that has driven semi’s and they have a new semi with the back trailer that they are pulling is an RV that matches. You know that costs a lot of money.
With gas costs the way they are you would never expect people to still go about their business when it cost them over $100.00 to fill the tank each time. But they still do. I hope the gas prices come down and soon. Posted by Picasa

Freedom on the Road

The Spirit of America is freedom. The open road. There are many things that go along with this freedom. We are so lucky that we live in a country that has the freedom that we have. There are so many countries that do not have these freedoms. Let's not take these freedoms for granted.
